Providing Third Sector Leadership for the 2014 Change Agenda

The core functions of NTSO include 8 main areas for service delivery:

Assisting with the development of new and existing organisations/services,  supporting development towards partnerships and collaborative models.

Start-up/Development

Support in areas such as best practice, Public Policy and Funding & Finance Opportunities.

Information, Advice and Assistance

Providing effective and accountable representation for the sector at local, regional and national levels, which in turn is fed directly back to the third sector.

Advocacy/Representation

Bringing together third sector organisations with public/private partnerships in areas such as policy development .

Partnership Building/Brokerage

We aim to highlight needs within the third sector organisations, provide information on services across all sectors and ensure high level co-ordination of countywide research.

Policy & Research

We will develop user friendly finance tools for the sector to help increase the level of understanding, accuracy of reporting and conversion tools for reporting on volunteering values. We will also work closely with specific sector partners to improve levels of governance.

NTSO is now developing itself towards achieving the international quality standard ISO 9001:2000. Intern, we will take the lead in developing knowledge of quality assurance tools and techniques and develop tools that will help the sector drive up performance improvement over time, we will also roll out this learning across the sector.

With our partners, we will take a proactive, countywide approach to increasing ICT development in the sector.
